You may have originally joined the Moose because it is a great place to meet new friends and get an inexpensive meal and drinks. However, what we really are, is a great service organization.
We support many other organizations in our area and we help them to also meet their service goals.
We have many opportunities to serve throughout the year. If each of our members served at just one event we would have way more volunteers than we need. Unfortunately, many times it is the same people over and over again doing the work and sometimes we even find ourselves short.
Please, we can't do it without YOU!
Take a look at the opportunities below. These are just some of the annual events that we need help with. Let us know what you might be interested in helping with.
CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES
When one of our members or someone in their family passes, they often would like to have a luncheon here at the Moose. When that happens, we need salads and dessert donations. Watch the weekly emails for those requests and please respond so we know what you are going to bring.
Currently, we are also looking for someone to coordinate those events. Duties would include:
- organizing food donations
- setting up and tearing down the day of the event

Kitchen Help
There are times we need some extra help in the kitchen when our regular staff need to take time off.
Please let us know if you would be interested in:
- preparing food
- delivering meals
- cash register

Our Easter Egg Hunt is Always a Hit!
We need volunteers to do things like; fill the eggs, set up, put out the eggs and cook hot dogs.
This event is always held the Saturday before Easter and is sponsored by the Women of the Moose.

Kids Halloween Party
The kids have so much fun at this party. Face painting, are just some of the many activities they enjoy. And they go home with a big bag of sugar!

Breakfast With Santa
Another event sponsored by the Women of the Moose.
Kids enjoy pancakes and sausage. Mr. and Mrs. Claus are there so the kids can turn in their lists.
This event is in conjunction with the Delton Hometown Christmas event.
